Older post, but still relevant for Arizona

You can read the newspapers, but it’s hard to understand the underlying story, especially when it relates to politics and legislating. This blog post gives some pretty good insight to the ballot initiative in Arizona.

It’s anti-payday lending, but it’s a good read.

The payday lenders have already spent $8.7 million in Arizona to get their initiative on the ballot. Word is that you have another big ad buy coming in Ohio during the Olympics. What does it say when you have to run commercials just to get petition signatures?

I think it means Ohioans are content with the law as it stands: no more 391% APR!
