There has been another siting of the infamous “they outnumber Starbucks and McDonald’s combined in the state.”
Can someone remind me again, what their point is? I still can not figure it out.
The article titled “Payday loan bill heads to committee” addresses HB1351 in Colorado. The bill is trying to cap rates at 36%.

I love how everyone is so concerned about these “helpless” people taking out Payday Loans, yet no one seems to care enough to address the questions of why they may need access to short-term credit in the first place, and certainly no one is coming up with viable options for these people either.
Usually, if you care about a group of people you don’t simply attempt to take away their only options. It’s as if there’s some sort of hidden agenda……
